Lotus Renault GP Launch R31
Lotus Renault GP have unveiled the team's 2011 car, the R31 at in Valencia, a day before testing gets underway at the Spanish circuit. Both Lotus Renault GP drivers Robert Kubica and Vitaly Petrov were on hand to unviel the car alongside, team principal Eric Boullier, technical director, James Alisson and the newly named list of reserve and test driver's Bruno Senna, Romain Grosjean, Jan Charouz, Ho-Ping Tung and Fairuz Fauzy. The team describes their decision of choosing to run the car with the icon black and gold livery for the 2011 season as "going black to the future" in celebration of the team’s recent tie-up with Group Lotus, as their new main sponsor. Lotus Renault GP is the fourth 2011 car to have been launched this week, with Red Bull, Toro Rosso, Mercedes GP and Williams to follow suit tomorrow. Meanwhile, Force India, McLaren, Virgin and HRT have all chosen to launch their 2011 car after the first pre-season tests.
