Sauber Announces Launch Date

Sauber have announced that they will launch their 2011 car on January 31st, one day before the start of the first pre-season test in Valencia. Sauber will unveil the C30 on the Monday morning before the drivers get behind the wheel in the afternoon to do a number of demonstration laps for the media. It is believed that the Sauber car will be the first of the 2011 cars to take to the track, with the remaining teams following suit the day after for official testing. The design of the 2011 Sauber will be the first led by technical director James Key, who designed the 2010 Force India car before moving teams midway through 2010. Kamui Kobayashi and Mexican rookie Sergio Perez's hopes now rest on the car's success.
